1. Platform Overview & Weekly Launch Model

LaunchOnIt is a curated software launchpad and startup discovery directory designed for indie software makers, SaaS founders, and digital tool creators.

Launches operate on synchronized weekly cycles from Monday 00:00:00 UTC through Sunday 23:59:59 UTC. Each weekly lineup is strictly capped at twenty (20) products to prevent feed saturation and ensure meaningful exposure for every participating maker. The top three products by authentic community upvotes earn permanent podium recognition in our Hall of Fame, permanent dofollow backlinks, and social broadcasts.

2. User Accounts, Maker Profiles & Daily Streaks

To participate in voting, publish products, or access maker dashboard analytics on LaunchOnIt:

• You must authenticate using a verified Google, GitHub, or X (Twitter) account, or via a verified email magic link.
• You agree to operate only one (1) human account. Operating multiple accounts to manipulate vote counts or circumvent weekly launch caps is strictly forbidden and results in immediate bans.
• Daily Streaks Engine: Daily engagement on the platform (upvoting, commenting, reviewing) builds consecutive streak days. Reaching designated milestones grants promotional benefits (e.g. Day 7 grants a 50% discount on the Launch tier, reducing it to $9.50). Streaks reset if a calendar day is missed in UTC.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and session tokens. If you suspect unauthorized activity, notify us immediately at contact@launchon.it.

3. Submissions, Maker Warranties & Automated Enrichment

When submitting a software product to LaunchOnIt, you represent and warrant that:

• You are the original creator, owner, or officially designated representative authorized to list the product.
• The destination URL points to a live, functional software product, web application, mobile app, or browser extension. Parked domains, malicious downloaders, and placeholder pages are rejected.
• Submitted metadata (title, tagline, category, platforms, tech stack, pricing model, discount codes, and alternatives) is accurate and truthful.
• You consent to automated platform operations: website screenshot rendering via ScreenshotOne, AI-assisted description and keyword enrichment via Google Generative AI (Gemini), and domain authority tracking via Ahrefs API.

4. Weekly Launches, Scheduling & Podium Rankings

Every weekly launch operates under defined operational rules:

• Capacity: Exactly up to 20 products launch in each weekly lineup.
• Weekly Schedule: Weekly launches start Monday at 00:00:00 UTC and conclude Sunday at 23:59:59 UTC. Automated launch reminders are dispatched to makers 48 hours prior to launch (Sunday 18:00 UTC) and 36 hours before the week closes (Friday 12:00 UTC).
• Podium Honors: The top 3 ranked products by verified upvotes at Sunday 23:59:59 UTC receive permanent Hall of Fame badges, permanent dofollow backlink equity, and social spotlights.
• Tie-Breaking: If two products finish with an identical upvote tally, the listing that reserved or scheduled its slot earlier is awarded the higher rank.

6. Rescheduling, Cancellations & Refund Policy

Because launch resources (landing page screenshots, queue locks, and for Growth, reserving the review article in our publishing schedule) are set up immediately upon checkout:

• Free Rescheduling: You may reschedule your scheduled launch week to any available upcoming open week free of charge up to forty-eight (48) hours prior to Monday 00:00:00 UTC (i.e. before Saturday 23:59:59 UTC) by contacting contact@launchon.it.
• Non-Refundable Once Started: Once your scheduled launch week begins or within 48 hours of scheduled launch, fees for Launch ($19), Growth ($39), and Homepage Ad Placements ($9/$19 per week) are non-refundable.
• Ad Slot Transfers: If you book an ad placement and need to postpone, you may transfer your reserved week to any future open inventory week for a product you own by providing at least 48 hours prior notice.
• Editorial Rejection: If a paid product submission is rejected by administrators for violating our safety guidelines (e.g. malicious software, deceptive phishing, fraudulent crypto schemes), LaunchOnIt reserves the right to issue a refund minus third-party payment processing fees, or withhold refunds in cases of egregious intentional abuse.

7. Voting Integrity & Zero-Tolerance Anti-Fraud Policy

Community trust is the cornerstone of LaunchOnIt rankings. We strictly enforce our One Human, One Vote policy:

• Makers and users may not buy upvotes, hire click-farm services, offer monetary rewards or gifts for upvotes, run automated scripts or bots, or create multiple disposable accounts to game leaderboard positions.
• We employ Cloudflare Turnstile bot verification, salt-hashed IP tracking, and voter reputation heuristics to detect synthetic or collusive activity in real time.
• When fraudulent upvote spikes or bot syndicates are detected, suspicious votes are automatically purged. Repeat or intentional offenders will have their product permanently disqualified from podium honors and removed from the platform without refund.

8. Prohibited Software & Prohibited Conduct

You may not submit software or publish content that involves:

• Malware, spyware, ransomware, Trojan horses, keystroke loggers, or unauthorized surveillance utilities.
• Phishing sites, credential harvesters, unauthorized vulnerability exploits, or deceptive scripts.
• Illegal gambling, unregulated pyramid schemes, fraudulent crypto tokens, or deceptive high-yield investment schemes.
• Defamatory, harassing, hateful, threatening, or sexually explicit content.
• Software that infringes upon third-party copyrights, patents, trademarks, or trade secrets.
• Deceptive clone applications designed to impersonate existing software brands.
