Free Domain Rating Checker & Certified DR Badge
Check the Domain Rating of any site in a couple of seconds. Then show yours off with a live badge that keeps itself up to date every day. Your DR goes up, the badge goes up. Simple as that.
How it works
- 1
Check your DR
Type your domain above. We fetch your Domain Rating from Ahrefs in a couple of seconds.
- 2
Copy the code
Pick light or dark and a size. The embed code includes the Ahrefs credit, so you're covered.
- 3
Paste it on your site
Footer, about page, media kit, wherever. It refreshes daily, so you set it once and forget it.
Why put your DR on show
Sponsors, advertisers and anyone buying a guest post check your authority first. A live badge answers that before they open another tab. It also beats the screenshot from two years ago that still says DR 12. And it's a nice little nudge to keep building links, because now everyone can see the number.
Want that number higher? A launch on LaunchOnIt gets your product a permanent page built for Google and AI search.
Questions
What is Domain Rating?
Domain Rating (DR) is Ahrefs' score from 0 to 100 for how strong a site's backlink profile is. More sites linking to you, and stronger ones, push it up. It's a quick way to size up a site, though it isn't a Google ranking factor itself.
How often does the badge update?
Once a day. We fetch your Domain Rating, keep it for 24 hours, then fetch it again. When your DR moves, the badge on your site moves with it. No editing, no new screenshots.
Is the DR badge free?
Yes. No account, no email, no trial. Check your domain, copy the code, paste it on your site. That's the whole thing.
Why does it say Certified?
Because the number isn't typed in by hand. LaunchOnIt reads it from Ahrefs every day and draws the badge from that, so nobody can bump their own DR on it. LaunchOnIt isn't affiliated with Ahrefs; the data is Domain Rating by Ahrefs.
Will it slow down my site?
No. The badge is a tiny SVG, a couple of kilobytes, and it's cached for hours. It loads faster than most cookie banners. Not a high bar, honestly.
Can I change how it looks?
Pick light or dark, and small, medium or large. The ring changes colour with your DR: pink under 20, blue from 20, green from 40, violet from 60 and gold from 80.
