How does VivaLingua work for translation?

VivaLingua translates spoken words during video calls (turn the camera off for a voice call) and in-person conversations. You speak your language, and a few seconds after each sentence the other person hears it spoken in theirs, with captions. The same happens in the other direction.

Do I need special headphones or a subscription?

No, VivaLingua works with any Bluetooth earbuds you already own. It operates on a pay-as-you-go minute system with no subscription fees, and your first 60 minutes are free.

Is it truly free for guests I invite?

Yes, absolutely. Only the host needs to purchase minutes. Anyone you invite to a conversation can join and participate for free, forever, even without the app.

How private are my conversations?

Calls are never recorded, and VivaLingua doesn't keep a transcript of what you said. The translated text and audio are kept only briefly so they can be delivered, then deleted.
