## About

Squadcard is an app for football groups that play every week: who's in, fair teams, and ratings from your mates.

The organiser posts one link in the group chat. Players tap in, maybe or out on any phone, with no app to download and no account needed to join. Squadcard then picks two fair teams from everyone's ratings, keeping goalkeepers apart.

After each game, everyone rates everyone else out of 10 and picks a player of the match. Individual votes are never shown to anyone, not even the organiser; only the totals count. With enough voters the highest and lowest votes are dropped, and wind-up scores count for less. Those ratings move each player's card every week.

There's a Team of the Week, end-of-season awards and shareable cards, plus a pitch-money tracker that works out who owes what (Squadcard never takes or moves money). Free daily games keep the group chat busy between matches: a penalty shootout, a football quiz and guess the rating.

Joining a squad is free. Works for any size, from 5-a-side to 11-a-side.

## Who it's for

Amateur football players, Sports organizers, Social sports teams

## Problem

Organising a weekly game among friends means chasing replies in the group chat, picking teams that end up lopsided, and arguing about who actually played well.

## Solution

One link in the group chat collects who's in, Squadcard picks fair teams from everyone's ratings, and after the game teammates rate each other anonymously, so every player's card reflects how they really play.

## What makes it unique

Players don't need to download anything: it works from a link in the group chat on any phone. Ratings come from your teammates, and individual votes are never shown, not even to the organiser. With enough voters the highest and lowest votes are dropped and wind-up scores count for less, so cards and teams stay fair. Player cards, a Team of the Week, season awards and free daily mini games keep the group playing.

## FAQ

**How does Squadcard ensure fair ratings?**

Squadcard employs a robust fairness system. Votes remain secret, and once six or more people vote, the highest and lowest scores are dropped. Additionally, if a player's scores consistently deviate from the average, their votes carry less weight over time.

**Do participants need to download a separate app?**

No, Squadcard integrates directly with your existing group chat. Players can confirm attendance, get team assignments, and submit ratings simply by tapping links in the chat, without needing to download any additional software.

**What features are available with Squad Pro?**

Squad Pro, a paid subscription, unlocks features for the entire squad including keeping all season records, awards, and Wrapped summaries. It also includes a pitch-money tracker, co-organizer functionality, support for up to 40 players, and special card designs.

**Can Squadcard help with managing pitch fees?**

Yes, the Pro version includes a pitch-money tracker. It automatically splits the pitch fee among players and shows who has paid, helping the organizer manage finances without handling any actual money transactions.
